Lakeside Living (LSLMI LLC) ("Lakeside Living", "we", "us") manages apartment and townhome communities in Michigan. This policy explains what information we collect through www.lakesidelivingmi.com and our related business tools, how we use it, and the choices you have.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information you give us: when you fill out a contact form, ask about an apartment, schedule a tour, apply, or reach out by phone, text or email, we collect what you send us, such as your name, phone number, email address, the property you are interested in, and your message.
Applications and payments: rental applications, resident portals and online rent payments are handled by our property management software provider. Information you enter there is handled under that provider's privacy policy as well as this one.
Basic website data: like most websites, our site and its hosting provider may automatically collect technical information such as your browser type, device, pages visited and the date and time of your visit, and may use cookies to keep the site working and to understand how it is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to answer your questions, show you available homes, process applications and leases, provide resident services and maintenance, communicate with you, improve our website and services, and meet our legal obligations.
TEXT MESSAGES
If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your inquiry, tour, application, lease or maintenance request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts. We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent with third parties for their marketing purposes.
GOOGLE BUSINESS PROFILE DATA
Lakeside Living uses an internal tool, "LSLMI Reviews Pull", which connects to the Google Business Profile API through our own Google account. It reads the public reviews, star ratings and review counts of our own communities' Google Business Profiles so our team can follow up with residents and reply to reviews. This information is stored in our private business systems and is seen only by our staff. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone else. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only: with service providers that help us run our business (for example our property management software, phone and text service, and website host), who may use it only to provide services to us; with the owners of the community you live in or are applying to; and when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of residents and staff, or in connection with a sale or transfer of our business.
HOW WE PROTECT INFORMATION
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information. No website or system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
CHILDREN
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
